Neon Moth
We don’t like to talk about ourselves much, but in case you’re curious…
Neon Moth is a small, tightly-knit group of professionals. We spend each day working out challenges and trying to make the world a little bit easier for our clients and their customers. Our team has years of experience in marketing, sales, graphic design, environmental design, photography, web development, project management, writing, education, and general all-around creativity.
We love our communities, and the stories waiting to be discovered.
We especially like working with small- and medium-sized businesses, and folks just starting out. We’ve been around a while, but not so long that we’ve forgotten what it was like in the early days.
Where did Neon Moth come from?
In the late 1990s, our co-founder, Lisa Cerezo, started designing and building websites as a personal hobby. People started to ask about her skills, and she soon found herself building and managing websites for a small handful of non-profit organizations.
In 2010, Lisa’s husband Jason (our other co-founder) was laid off from a stable career and decided to leverage his marketing and design experience to start a design firm. While servicing clients, he found that many of them had less than professional websites.
In May of 2011, we opened as ThirdSide and began offering professional graphic design and web development services to small- and medium-sized businesses and organizations.
Over the following years, ThirdSide grew from a simple side business to a more refined company. We added environmental design and custom printing to our services to better assist businesses looking for a qualified company to “handle it all.”
The pandemic turned us into a remote-first company. When it ended, we realized that we had grown more agile. We wanted our name to reflect our change, so in 2023, ThirdSide changed its name to Neon Moth.
